Frequently Asked Questions
What are the signs made from?
Most of our signs will be made from 14 or 16 gauge steel.
Fire pits and a few other products can be as thick as 1/4".
Do these signs come painted?
Most of our products will come powder coated to the color of your choice.
Do you offer other sizes?
Absolutely! If one of our listed sizes doesn't fit EXACTLY what you need, let us know and we can see if we can make it work for your needs!
What is powder coating?
Powder coating is a dry finishing process where a fine powder is applied to a surface, electrostatically charged to adhere, then heated to form a durable and decorative coating.
What is the lead time?
We should have the product on the way to you within 4-10 days, depending on complexity.
Can I order a product with no finishing?
Yes, we do offer every product to be cut and delivered with no finish, keep in mind with no finish the product could rust over time if exposed to the elements.
What is the process?
Step 1: Design & Cut - After the order is placed, we will begin by getting the project into our CAD software and make any customizations needed. Once the design is ready to go, we then send it over to our state-of-the-art CNC plasma table
Step 2: Clean & Prep - When the new creation is cut out, we thoroughly clean and inspect the metal to ensure it is properly cut and clean.
Step 3: Powder Coat - Then, we can move it over to the powder coating phase. This is where we will spray the new creation with a powder and then bake it on for a life time of durability!
Step 4: Delivery - Finally we arrange pickup and/or delivery, unless shipping has already been arranged.
How do I mount my sign?
Option 1: Use the mounting holes - holes within the sign to attach to a wall using either nails, screws, or bolts.
Option 2: Use the 'cut outs' - areas within the design to tuck small finishing nails (this method is quick and painless and doesn't affect the craftsmanship of the sign by adding extra mounting holes).
Option 3: Standoff Mounts - If you want your artwork to pop, ask about our standoffs we can cut, bend, and weld to the back side of the work piece, giving it some depth and a smooth 3D appearance!
Option 4: Double Sided VHB Tape - If you're set on the placement, double sided VHB Tape is a great option (keep in mind this is a semi-permanent solution).
